CCTV Power Through Video Balun and PTZ Balun Applications

EQL's CCTV Video Baluns (Coaxial to Cat 5 Converters) allows video to
be transmitted over twisted pair Cat 5 cable with virtually little or no

Where power is required to be applied to the remote CCTV camera from the
Hub end this can be achieved using either E10180SP and E10180SJ in
combination or 2 units of E10524.
As only 1 pair of a Cat 5 cable is used for the transmission of CCTV video to the DVR, the remaining 3 pairs of the Cat 5 cable is available and is used by the Power Through Baluns to feed DC or AC Power from the Hub to the camera.
